My name is Meike Hagen and I am a mixed media artist and image maker who works and lives in London. Having graduated from London College of Fashion in 2023, my work aims to create compelling story telling of fashion based characters through the use of photography and collage. I believe that creating a believable story through image making requires the right balance between research, styling, and editing which is why I try to involve myself in the entirety of the process. Collage enables me to add a sense of illusion and surrealism to my otherwise realistic photographic work. In general I like to play with the balance between reality and illusion.
